rivateer Media is a financially independent media company that specializes in subjects of early American history.  It was established in 2005 to provide production and developmental resources for film, history, educational & museum projects.

NEW ~ Privateer Media has published it's first book, "Building 18th Century Naval Artillery" that was released on November 1, 2008. Written by Damian Siekonic, this is the first in a series of workshop books that walks the reader through adapting historical naval and garrison carriage plans to work with any cannon barrel, whether original or reproduction. This soft-cover book is 90 pages long and contains 129 black & white technical drawings and color plates detailing the construction process. The book also covers artillery tools, block & tackle, slow match and swivel guns. It's spiral bound for easy reading in the workshop.
