 rivateer Media, LLC was developed by Damian Siekonic following years of professional experience with history projects, films and research. Dealing in the management of historical & maritime resources, Privateer Media brings a level of quality and functional believability unique to the educational and historical film industry. Our work can be seen on National Geographic, PBS, with the National Park Service, Colonial Williamsburg and elsewhere.
Siekonic is a graduate of Boston University’s College of Communication where in 1991 he earned his degree in Journalism. He is a published author and a NAUI certified diver. After spending ten years as a corporate executive he made the decision to pursue his interests in American history, publishing and film making full-time. Since its inception in early 2005 Privateer Media has contributed to numerous film, museum and educational projects nationwide, specializing in:
