Privateer Media, LLC was founded in 2004 by Damian Siekonic after years of professional experience with historical projects, research work and documentary film making. Dealing in the management of history & maritime resources, Privateer Media brings a level of quality and functional believability unique to the educational and historical film industry. Our work can be seen in feature films, National Geographic, Sports Illustrated, PBS, AMC, FOX, the Travel Channel, Universal, HBO, Colonial Williamsburg, the National Park Service and elsewhere.

Bio:
Damian Siekonic holds a degree from Boston University’s College of Communication. He is a film maker, published author, certified diver, tall ship sailor, wooden boat restorer, black powder armourer and professional cider maker. His unique skillsets have contributed to numerous film, museum and educational projects in the United States and Canada.
